I adore that if I tell you “I love you”, you don’t say “I love you too”. You say “I love you.” I’m probably reading too much into it, but instead of cheapening your reply by making it clear you’re simply reciprocating what I said, you say exactly what I said. It makes me feel like you’re saying to me “I’m all-in, just like you are.”
